W czwartek wieczorem gruchnęła wiadomość, że gala UFC 249, która miała odbyć się 18 kwietnia, została odwołana. Dana White został poproszony przez ESPN, aby zrezygnował z planów doprowadzenia do wydarzenia w czasach pandemii koronawirusa.
