Jon Jones po niezwykle wyrównanej walce obronił pas mistrzowski wagi półciężkiej, pokonując w walce wieczoru UFC 247 Dominicka Reyesa.
Jon Jones był bardzo wyraźnym faworytem w pojedynku z Dominickiem Reyesem, który uświetnił galę UFC 247 w Houston.
Okazało się jednak, że pretendent zawiesił mu poprzeczkę piekielnie wysoko, zdaniem wielu zwyciężając trzy pierwsze rundy i tym samym całą walkę. Sędziowie orzekli jednak jednogłośnie o zwycięstwie Bonesa w stosunku 2 x 48-47, 49-46.

I had Reyes in the first three rounds. Credit to Jones on coming on strong 4th and 5th but I would of guessed Reyes won that fight on scorecards.
